The Blue Elephant International Group’s trading arm, Blue Spice Co., Ltd, recently received the most prestigious award, the ‘Jury Special Award SIAL Innovation 2013’ for six of its ready-to-cook Thai Cooking sets, namely Tom Yum Sour and Spicy Soup, Tom Kha Soup, Green, Yellow, Red and Massaman curries at Salon International de L’Alimentation (SIAL) 2013 in Shanghai. Criteria categories for the award included Pleasure, Health, Physical, Convenience and Ethics.
“It was indeed a great honor to have been recognized by SIAL as we had to compete with 40 other products at the world’s leading annual Food Show, which was attended by 2,500 exhibitors this year”, commented Mr. Xavier Le Boucher, Managing Director of Blue Spice Co., Ltd.
Riding on such a prestigious accolade, Blue Spice launched three new products namely, Thai Curry Sauce (Green Curry, Red Curry and Yellow Curry), Thai Cooking Set BBQ Satay and fiber and vitamin E-rich Organic Thai Black Rice at ThaiFex 2013, which was recently held at IMPACT’s Challenger Hall 2, Muang Thong Thani during May 22 – 26, 2013.
These three new products are an addition to Blue Spice’s extensive ‘Blue Elephant Grocery Line’, which facilitate those wishing to make easy and quick meals without having to compromise on quality and taste.
