Pattaya Deputy Mayor Mr Ronnakit Ekasingh (6th from left, back row) paid a visit to Dusit Thani Pattaya to personally express his appreciation on behalf of Pattaya City for the hotel’s F&B staff who emerged victorious from two recent bartending competitions held in BITEC and Pattaya as well as from the 18th Thailand International Culinary Cup in which the resort bagged three of bronze, silver and gold medals in different categories. Ms Kanda Namboran (7th left back row) clinched the Best Flair Bartender and the Best Cocktail trophies in the Thailand Bartender Championship in BITEC. Mr Ekasingh shared his pride with the hotel management and congratulated General Manager Chatchawal Supachayanont for his unending support and encouragement to the staff. The deputy mayor also extended the city’s appreciation to the winners for the pride, honor and prestige that their accomplishments have brought not only to the hotel but to the entire city of Pattaya as well.
Khun Kanda Namboran holds up the trophies she brought home from two major categories in the Thailand Bartender Championship 2012 – The Best in Flair Bartending and Best Cocktail awards. She bested all other contestants coming from across Thailand when she won the hearts of judges with her creation called ‘Treasure’. She is scheduled to compete in the ASEAN Bartender Competition early next year.

Khun Juthaporn Daosawa received a special recognition for her extraordinary talent and remarkable carving skill in the 18th TICC Event. The award was given by the Chief Director of Japanese Fruit and Soap Carving Society.

From the Pattaya and the East Bartender Contest 2012 held at DTPA’s Napalai Convention, we garnered a total of six awards (3 first prizes and 3 second prizes) in Fruits & Vegetable Carving, Centerpiece Flower on a Birthday Dining Set Up, Round Table Skirting Decoration, High Tea Set Up and Flair Bartending. On top of that, the Ms Bartender trophy was won by our very own , The Honeybees! Some of you may have seen them perform during the cocktail reception for the GMs Conference last May.
From the Thailand International Culinary Cup 2012 where DTPA earned 3 gold medals as well as 3 in both bronze and silver in the Live Fruit & Vegetable Carving (Individual and Team), Free Style Ice Carving, Pasta Style Cooking, Free Style Meat Cooking, Free Style Seafood Cooking and Free Style Pastry Showpiece Display.
