National Science Museum (NSM), Ministry of Science & Technology will organise the “National Science and Technology Fair”,
National Largest Exposition on Science and Technology which will be held during 6 – 21 August, 2011 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 9:00 to 20:00 am. There is FREE admission for youths, teachers, agencies, enterprises and general public which can inspire ideas and development on science skills. In addition, the extension of BTS Sky Train Sukhumvit line is coming to BITEC, easy access and moving faster. Get off at Bang Na Station and connect to Sukhumvit Road Entrance, Free ride during 12 August, 2011 until 1 January, 2012.
The annually event held in August which correspond to the “National Science Day”. The main objective to honor His Majesty King Rama, “Father of Science in Thailand” and His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej recognized as “Father of Thai Technology and Father of Thai Innovation”. Also, this event will help stimulate interest in science and technology and promote knowledge, understanding and dissemination of research and development advances in science and technology for youth and the general public in Thailand.
Moreover, the interesting exhibition of the Royal Pavilion “Father of Science in Thailand” and “Father of Thai Technology and Father of Thai Innovation” with the royal family to honor their talents in science and technology. Other key exhibitions including of a variety of Biological, Assistive Technology, World Crisis, Laser Light Technology, Nanotechnology, Digital World, Robot or Automation Technology, Healthy Food and Forensic Science. There are also an current with entertaining activities such as contests & competitions, conferences, seminars, discussions, training and Broadcast Science & Technology.
Furthermore, BITEC and NSM will held the activities to reinforce knowledge & skills of science and technology and build the unity of friends or family in the activity “Walk Rally” only daily time at 15.00 – 20.00 pm. for everyone.
