Bangkok, 7 June 2013 :Hitachi Transport System (Thailand) Ltd.,today signs contract with TPARK for a 3-year rental of 10,020 sq m warehouse in TPARK Rojana Prachinburi. With high confidence in Thailand’s economic fundamentals, Hitachi Transport System will utilize the newly rented warehouse to serve its continuing expansion plan in the country.
Mr. Seiki Sato, Managing Director of Hitachi Transport System (Thailand) Ltd., reveals that Hitachi Transport System Group is the leading company in the logistic industry from Japan focusing on Business to Business Logistics solution. The services covering transportation, storage and information system by utilizing the distribution network which spans over 400 bases worldwide. Thailand is one of the high potential bases of Hitachi Transport’s distribution network which is growing significantly. The company therefore needs high quality and ready-built warehouse space which it can move in immediately without waiting for construction of new warehouse which takes 2-3 years before it can start operation.
“We chose to sign a 3-year contract with TPARK to rent a total of 10,020 sqm warehouse at TPARK Rojana Prachinburi because of its strategic location in the Rojana Industrial Park,Prachinburi. Since Hitachi Transport System has a big number of customers in the area, the new Distribution Center will effectively support the company’s commitments to our customers for delivering high quality equipment and services, improved operational efficiencies, and hence reduced supply-chain costs. In addition the newly rented warehouse will also help facilitate the company’s future expansion plan in Thailand,” said Mr. Seiki.
