Thailand will find it hard to play the leading role in Asian Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 without its ability to curb down corruption. Ethic cultivation to achieve life balance through educational reform is a must. Dr. Virachai Techavijit, Chairman of the Regent’s Schools, recently took part in lecturing “Good Conscience Helps Prevent Corruption” to participants in a special training course, Advanced Strategies on Corruption Prevention for Senior Public and Government Officials” organized in its 3rd year by Office of The National Anti-Corruption Commission (ONACC). This one-year long course was designed to assist high ranking officials from various ministries, government agencies, and private associations who are responsible for preventing corruption in their own organizations.
The objectives of this special course are 1) to enhance participants to be leaders in preventing corruption within their own organization through role modeling, promoting transparency and instilling proper attitude against corruption and 2) To create inter-organizational co-operations that lead to collaborated power to successfully prevent and enforce laws against corruptions.
