dusitD2 chiang mai invites you to a delightful evening – celebrating Thai & French culinary excellence. Phillippe Keller, Dusit Thani’s michelin trained Executive Sous Chef, brings together the best of France and Thailand.
Chef Phillippe will skillfully showcase a creative French 5-course set menu, using organic products from Thai Royal Project Foundation paired with the best and award-winning wines at the modern moxie restaurant.
Our sumptuous 5-course menu includes;
· Amuse – bouche
· Pan fried duck liver and crayfish, caramelized apples with walnuts, baby rocket salad, served with port wine sauce and grapes
Wine: Zind-Hunbrecht Muscat Herrenweg de Turckheim, 2002, France (white)
· Pan fried scallop, wrap with parma ham served with green peas mousseline, vegetables tartar and saffron sauce
Wine: Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Blanc, 2008, France (white)
· River lobster bisque scented with brandy, orange and saffron foam
Wine: Château Brisson, 2005, France (red)
· Pan fried beef tenderloin, served with classical mash potatoes, vegetables structure with wild mushroom and bordelaise sauce with red wine or Pan fried “challan duck” quinoa with parma ham and vegetables, orange marmalade, served with an natural duck jus
Wine: Château Phélan Ségur, 2005, France (red)
· Traditional lukewarm French chocolate moelleux, served with vanilla ice cream
Wine: Domaine des Bernardins, Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, 2003, France (sweet)
· Coffee tea and mignardises
Pre-dinner cocktails starts from 6.30pm onwards followed by set dinner at 7.30pm @ THB 4,500 net per person (inclusive of cocktails reception, set dinner and Lucaris wine glass gift set valued @ THB 2,550). Exclusively for 40 seats.
