Bahamas, USA (May 24, 2011) The accolades continue for multi-award-winning Absolute World Group – Asia’s leading lifestyle property developer, resort and hotel operator, fractional ownership and vacation club pioneer – who were three time winners at the global Perspective Magazine Awards, held at the closing Gala of the GNEX 2011 conference in the Bahamas.
The Perspective Magazine Awards are organised by Perspective magazine, the market leading independent magazine for the global shared ownership resorts industry.
Following a nine month search for the best of the best in the global shared ownership industry, the Absolute World Group were announced winners of ‘Best Fractional Resort’ for The Beach Samui, their stunning Private Residence Club on the Southern shores of Thailand’s Koh Samui, conceptualised by world leading design team Yoo, now reaching over 30% off plan sales, and ‘Best Fractional Unit’ – Absolute Bangla Suites, Absolute’s hugely successful fractional ownership resort, now open in the heart of vibrant Patong on the island of Phuket, Thailand. Charlotte Rose Melsom, the group’s London based Global Director of Brand Development, was announced winner of the ‘Best Marketing Professional’ award for her and her team’s continued work over the last two years in refining all Absolute products and raising the company to unprecedented levels.
Absolute World Group were up against some of the leading hospitality brands in the world, with the inaugural Perspective Magazine Awards attracting over 160 entries across 20 categories. Entrants were initially voted for by their industry peers, in a unique and transparent “social media” style first round. From there, an independent judging panel confirmed the winners for each category.
